Common questions
- I scanned a label and nothing came up.
- If the label has never been attached to a bin, Muninn offers to attach it or create a new bin with it — that’s normal for fresh label packs. If it’s a bin you know exists, make sure you’re signed in to the right household.
- Does it work without signal?
- Yes. Each signed-in device keeps its own copy of the inventory, and scanning a bin in a dead zone answers from that copy. Changes sync when you’re back online.
- How do I add my family?
- Settings → Household → Invites → create an invite link and send it. Whoever opens it creates their own account and lands in your household. View-only guest invites are supported too.
- How do I get my data out?
- Settings → Export: spreadsheet (CSV), a printable report with photos and values, or JSON. A full restorable backup lives at Settings → Backup.
- How do I delete my account?
- Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account. You’ll be asked for your password — that’s on purpose, so nobody who borrows your phone or your browser can end the account in one tap. It takes effect immediately; the household survives unless you were its last member.
- I forgot my password.
- Use the reset page — enter your email and follow the link it sends.
- What is Muninn Plus, and how do I cancel?
- Muninn is free to use: 6 bins, unlimited items, and as many places as you like. Asking Muninn where something is costs nothing on any plan, and putting your own logo on labels is free for everybody. Muninn Plus lifts the 6‑bin limit and gives a monthly allowance of AI autofills (Muninn reading a bin from a photograph) and redraws. It is bought in the iPhone or iPad app (Settings → Plan), where the prices are shown in your own currency, and one purchase covers your whole household. Monthly and yearly renew automatically; cancel any time in your iPhone’s or iPad’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. New phone? Settings → Plan → Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple. The full rules are in the terms.
